Itinerary
Dhunche is a small settlement area and the headquarter of Rasuwa District. After our arrival in Dhunche, we will stroll around the village and spend our time with locals. After spending a wonderful evening with locals, we will stay overnight in a well-maintained tea house.
After breakfast on day two, we will set out on our trek in Dhunche and ascend in the direction of Chandanwari. We will arrive at Deurali (2,500m), a little settlement with a few tea houses on the route to Chandanbari, after about two hours of climbing.
After three hours of climbing over a stunning track that passes between streamlets and cascades, we will arrive at Dhimsa (2,900m). The hike from Dhimsa is a little challenging because it climbs through gorgeous pine trees. In order to go to Chandanwari (3200m), a village nestled in the foothills of a pine forest, we must walk high parts of elevation. This location is also known as Sing Gompa.
Chandanwari offers its guests enough to do and see. The two main draws of Chandanwari are a monastery and a Yak cheese business.
In Chandanwari, after a filling breakfast, we will climb upward to Gosaikunda (4361m). The hike will be somewhat harder today than it was yesterday.
The trail starts off progressively higher. We'll be trekking to Gosaikunda via a narrow, rough trail. You will have to go across desolate hills and into chilly breezes as we gradually rise. Thus, make sure your clothing is warm enough to keep you comfortable in this extremely chilly setting.
Our hike will take us almost an hour and a half to reach Cholangpaty (3500m). Views of mountains like Ganesh Himal (7422m), Manaslu (8163m), Langtang Lirung (7234m), and Langtang Ri (7205m) are now clear and near.
We will hike for a another two hours to reach Lauribinayak (3900m). Gazing from Lauri Binayak, a broad
We're going to enjoy breakfast in our hotel while taking in this lovely morning. After seeing Gosaikunda, we will retrace our route via Lauribinayak, Dhimsa, and Deurali, going downhill to Dhunche.
The last day of trekking is today. So relish every moment of the journey. We will be trekking downwards while taking in the enticing vistas of the mountains, pine forest, and the flavorful Chandanwari cheese. Hiking will be a little simpler and more enjoyable because we will be descending. Along the walk, we may also see a variety of protected species, including Tibetan Snow Cocks, Wood Snipes, and Snow Partridges.
After Breakfast we are back to Kathmandu completing the whole trekking.
