Itinerary

Drive from Kathmandu to Beni, a scenic town in the Myagdi district. The journey takes about 8-9 hours.

Begin trekking from Beni, following the Myagdi River. Pass through terraced fields and small villages to reach Babichaur.

Trek through beautiful forests and cross the Dharapani River multiple times. Reach the village of Dharapani.

Ascend through the village of Takum and continue through terraced fields. Pass the settlement of Sibang and reach Muri.

Trek through forests and terraced fields, crossing several streams. Enjoy the views of Mt. Ghustung South and other peaks.

Trek through rhododendron and bamboo forests. The trail climbs gently to Dovan, situated at the convergence of Myagdi Khola and Dhampus Khola.

As you gain altitude, the vegetation changes to alpine. Reach Italian Base Camp, which offers stunning views of Dhaulagiri I.

Take a rest day for acclimatization and explore the surrounding areas. Optionally, hike to the glacier for spectacular views.

Trek along the lateral moraine of the Chhonbardan Glacier. The trail becomes steep and challenging, leading to Glacier Camp.

Continue trekking on the glacier and traverse challenging terrain to reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The views of Dhaulagiri I are breathtaking.

Another rest day for acclimatization. Enjoy the views and prepare for the challenging passes ahead

Cross the French Pass, the highest point of the trek. Descend to the Hidden Valley, a vast and secluded plateau.

Ascend the Dhampus Pass, offering panoramic views. Descend to Yak Kharka, a grazing area for yaks.

Descend through the village of Tukuche and reach Marpha, famous for its apple orchards and narrow alleys.

Take a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, and then fly or drive back to Kathmandu.
